Junior 3D Artist

We are seeking an entry level, Junior 3D Artist in Vietnam for our game, Out of the Ashes.

Benefits

• Up to 6M VND / month, 70k VND / hour
• Part time 10-20hrs / week

Requirements

Artistic skill or work experience are not required for this role. Accuracy is more important. As long as you know how to model, we will train you on our processes.

• Familiarity with 3D modeling and UV mapping in at least one tool: Blender, Maya, etc.
• Can speak and write in basic English
• Can follow directions accurately

Example Duties

• Work with lead 3D artist to fit pre-made clothing onto character models. (eg. reshape short, wide dwarven clothing onto taller human models)
• Import pre-made assets into our game engine, Godot (eg. trees, chests, barrels, furniture, weapons)
• Create simple, static models like rocks, stone ruins, wooden signs

Preferred Candidates

• Experience placing assets in scenes to create environments (rocks & foliage, environment & level design)
• Familiarity with ZBrush

My name is Cory. I’m an American living in Da Nang. We’re a small team of independent game developers living all over the world. I’m the team lead. We aren’t a commercial game studio yet.
